Bio
Lydia Woolever is a senior editor at Baltimore magazine and a freelance journalist based in Maryland.
An Eastern Shore native, she writes about the Chesapeake Bay region, telling stories about its people, history, and sense of place, with a focus on the regional foodway.
Her writing has appeared in Esquire, Popular Mechanics, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and Edible, and has both been nominated for and won several national awards, including the City Regional Magazine Association Awards (CRMAs) and the FOLIO Eddie & Ozzie Awards, where she was named 2019’s Editor of the Year.
